The whole issue was handled so poorly by then that I left shortly after that. The next morning I did take him back into the casino as I needed to confront my anxiety issue and was not long that I was approached by a floor manager asking if he was a service animal and what he was trained for. I went and put him in the car after that but noticed security was constantly walking about the casino like they were looking for someone and my anxiety levels rose. I said I was only asking about their pet policy and she rudely told me that animals were not allowed in the building anywhere. She then asked to see his papers (which is illegal to do so). A woman at the front desk demanded to know if my dog was a service dog, I was so startled by her rudeness, I said yes. Since I wanted to stay at their hotel in the near future, I walked over to the hotel to inquire about pet policy. Many area casinos that I have visited welcome dogs and since there was no signage anywhere I assumed that he would be welcome at this place.
But I travel with a small dog that helps me with PTSD anxiety and while not a 'certified' service animal, I do not state he is a service animal.
