So we sat in the bar, and had a nice sendoff breakfast, which I paid for with my Q Club card. On our way out on Sunday morning, we saw a Omelet Bar priced at $5, but then I remembered a $1.99 Breakfast special, I read online. Next time we decided we would bring our own chairs! And there will be next time. the chairs in the conference room were hideous! I could not sit in one for very long, without my lower back screaming! And my poor husband, who attended all of the Summit, stood in the back most of the time. The only reason I gave the overall rating Very Good, instead of Excellent. The Summit was very informational, and the speakers were interesting. Our names were not called, but average winnings were from 2 nights stay with dinner, to $2200. Gaming was fun, with hourly hotseat drawings all weekend. We also ate at Emily's Restaurant, deeelish, (and kind of pricey).
We took advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub, which we had all to ourselves, and love the idea of adult hours. What a great time we had! We chose to pay and extra $20 for the ocean view upgrade, and it was so worth it! The huge picture window was just what I needed, being able to sit on the couch and just relax, watching the waves roll in! The bed was so comfortable, and the linens were soft to the touch. My husband and I decided to attend the Sasquatch Summit on the 22nd and 23rd, that was held at the Quinault.
